We loved the Handy smartphone in our Hollywood Twin room for free international calls and internet access while exploring Tokyo. The location was perfect for sightseeing and the room had the best wifi we experienced in Japan. we highly recommend staying at Niwa.

Conveniently located near public transportation, this facility is a peaceful oasis with modern Japanese decor. The staff is helpful and friendly, with fluent English. The breakfast buffet offers both Western and Japanese options. Spotlessly clean and well-appointed rooms provide a comfortable stay. The bonus rooftop lounge and massage chairs are a welcome treat for guests.

The hotel's location was fantastic - within walking distance to multiple subway stations and close to the downtown area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness was really good and the hotel facilities were well-maintained.
Nothing negative to say.

We loved this place as it was located in a really quiet neighborhood which was perfect for getting a good night's sleep with the window open. The subway and JR stations were both a short walk away which made getting around really convenient. The staff here were incredibly helpful and arranged things for us that we wouldn't have been able to do ourselves without a Japanese speaker. The room itself had everything we needed such as flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi which was great.
This venue is ideal for families - we didn't encounter any issues during our stay.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station and easy to access the city's main attractions. The rooms were lovely and clean, with plenty of power outlets for charging devices. The staff were friendly and spoke both English and Japanese, making communication easy.
That the windows could not be opened wider, possibly to prevent smoking. This meant that the room didn't have much fresh air.

Central location, clean rooms, friendly staff, Western and Japanese style, nearby cafe and convenience store.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet street yet only a few minutes walk down two alleys to train and subway stations. Plenty of eateries and supermarkets around. The staff were very professional and friendly, and the laundry room was convenient. Our room may be small in American standards, but it is perfectly fine for Europeans. The Japanese design elements were impressive, and the massage chairs on the 3rd floor were free to use.
The breakfast didn't stand out, and the prices to dine in the evening are extremely high.
